Educators and teachers specifically benefit from knowing a community is rallying behind them to achieve great things for students. The ESF funds a variety of initiatives that aim to attract, grow and retain teachers in HISD. Whether providing a “dream classroom makeover” for a new teacher, professional development for a school counselor or awarding funds for excellence in the classroom or school leadership, educators are celebrated and supported by the Houston ISD Foundation.
